I started this blog with the intention of documenting my training for my first Half Ironman race in late October of 2012. It was kind of fun keeping track of everything so I decided to keep going. Who knows where this is headed but I will keep the information rolling and see where it goes.

Wednesday 7.25.12
I am taking it easy this week to try and get refreshed for the next few months. Today's workout consisted of an easy spin on the stationary bike at the CARC for 30 minutes followed by some light upper body weight training on the circuit machines. Today is the first day I have felt pretty normal since the race. I was a little stiff yesterday when I would sit for an extended period of time. I don't really feel any stiffness today. My body feels somewhat recovered as well. Tomorrow is the first run since the race so I will see how that goes tomorrow as I work in more traditional triathlon training for the rest of the week.
