I started this blog with the intention of documenting my training for my first Half Ironman race in late October of 2012. It was kind of fun keeping track of everything so I decided to keep going. Who knows where this is headed but I will keep the information rolling and see where it goes.

Core Work 7.24.12
After talking with Jeff after the race, I think he has come to the conclusion we are going scale back slightly for the next few weeks and let my body recover. Today, the plan called for core work. I did two sets of 5 minutes on the rowing machine at the gym. After that, I did some 30 second planks from the prone and side positions. Sit ups on the ball were next followed by 10 minutes of leg stretching using a foam roller. I am to get the rest of my schedule sometime today. I had the day off today so it was nice to sleep in and do the gym work this morning.
