Jacks Generic Triathlon is tomorrow in Plugerville so I went for a short bike ride today. About an hour out Lakeside Parkway and back. I don't think I have been on the bike in about a week and a half and it was good to get out there again. It is getting hot now. Summer has finally descended. The race tomorrow may be the toughest of the year. It's an Olympic distance so I'm looking at two and a half hours of work in the heat. For some reason, the waves start at 8:00am. Why not start at 7:00am? I guess there will be incentive to get done. This will be #4 of the Texas Tri Series. I haven't had a stellar month of training so we'll see how it goes.
