Thursday is tempo run day. I decided to wait until this afternoon in hopes of running when the weather was warm. We still have some snow on the ground and I didn't want to hit a patch of ice while running today. The run plan was a two mile warm up, 1 mile at 8:45, 1 mile at 8:15 and a two mile cool down. I took a Cherry Lime Roctane gel with me. I love those when I'm running. I didn't take any water with me as it was about 40 degrees outside. My two fast miles were faster than plan by 10 seconds or so. I felt pretty good and stayed warm. Pretty good training day to put on some base miles.
