The plan was very simple. 2 mile warm up, 6 miles at half marathon pace, and 1 mile cool down. I chose my usual 8 mile route and found a way to add mileage in places to get me to nine. It was a nice cool morning but very humid. I can declare running tights season officially over. I was soaked with sweat. It's running shorts and short sleeve shirts from here to Boulder. My half marathon miles were a little off. Seemed like most of those miles were between 9:10 and 9:30. I would typically run closer to 9 minute miles. I did get faster as the miles clicked by but I was definitely not feeling great.
